Suit Shopping With Stephanie

Went shopping with Stephanie tonight for a suit. I have never bought a suit before but with a big interview next week and a couple weddings in the next year to officiate I figured it was time. We went to Kohl's first, but decided to head to the Men's Warehouse for some expert advice.

I had fun trying on some different styles and colors, before landing on a fairly traditional charcoal colored suit. We decided the charcoal would give me the most versatility with different dress shirt and tie colors and designs. The hardest part of the night was pulling the trigger on the checkbook; suits sure don't come cheap.

I loved being in the store and wish that I could load up my closet on dress clothes. There is a certain feeling that I get when I dress up and I wish I had reason to do it more often. I guess I'll have to get in a church someday where I can preach in a suit, which might be tough for a white guy like myself to do, as suits don't seem to be the common white dude pulpit attire anymore.
