Finding Your Groove

Last night I had a dream where different objects were being placed in specific grooves, and I woke up this morning thinking about the idea of living "in the groove cut out for you." The verse that sprang to mind was Ephesians 2:10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
God created each of us with a specific groove in mind, and part of our journey in life is searching to find that perfect fit. There's no promise that finding and living in that groove will be easy, or that we will immediately be able to identify where it is that God wants us to be. That is why we keep seeking and asking of the Holy Spirit for guidance.

When you are living in the groove carved out for you, you will experience a peace and a joy that lasts. You'll get up ready to face the challenges ahead, confident that you have all you need to overcome.

Don't quit. Don't settle. Keep seeking.

And above all else, don't waste your life trying to force yourself into a groove that was never designed for you!
